Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Moopy Entertainment Inc. ("Moopy," "we," "our," or "us") and govern:

• the Anime Manga Lounge mobile application (the "App"), and
• the physical Anime Manga Lounge store, loyalty program, and all on‑premise services (the "Store Service").

By:

• (a) downloading or using the App,
• (b) creating an account, or
• (c) entering or using a Anime Manga Lounge location,

you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Agreement"). If you do not agree, do not use the App or Store Service.

1. Eligibility

App & Account: 13 years or older only. Users ages 13–17 represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms and takes responsibility for compliance. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Store Service (physical café): Children under 13 may enter only while continuously supervised by a parent or legal guardian. The adult is responsible for the child's conduct and for compliance with Store Rules.

2. License & Intellectual Property

We grant you a limited, revocable, non‑transferable license to use the App for personal, non‑commercial purposes. All content, trademarks, and logos (including "Anime Manga Lounge") are owned by Moopy or its licensors. Fan art incorporating the logo is permitted for non‑commercial use provided it is not misleading or defamatory and visibly credits Moopy; all other uses require prior written consent.

3. Fees & Payment (Store Service)

Entry Fee: Fees are charged based on the pricing displayed in-store and in the App at the time of your visit, payable at check‑out.

Grace Period: Up to 5 minutes beyond each full hour incurs no additional charge.

No refunds: All fees are non‑refundable once payment is processed.

4. Pro Subscription (App)

Overview: Manga Lounge Pro is a recurring monthly subscription available in the App. The current price is shown at checkout (for example, $9.99 per month). Payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Moopy does not store your payment card information. See our Privacy Policy for how subscription data is handled.

Billing & renewal: Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. After purchase, manage or cancel your subscription in your device Account Settings. Billing disputes and refund requests for subscription charges must be directed to Apple or Google under their policies.

Pro benefits: While your Pro membership is active and in good standing, you may receive the benefits described in the App at the time of subscription, which may include:

• Unlimited lounge access: Visit the Store as often as you like during operating hours. You must check in and check out with your own member QR code on every visit. Unlimited drinks included with your stay remain subject to Store Rules. Pro membership covers your own entry; it does not replace per-visit fees for guests unless a guest pass is used.
• Guest passes: Up to two (2) guest passes per calendar month. You may use them on separate visits (one guest at a time) or on one visit (two guests at once). Tell staff at the front desk when you use a guest pass. Guest passes may not be sold, transferred, or shared outside your visit.
• Event ticket pre-sale: Early access to selected event tickets. When offered, a ticket link may be sent to your registered email address one (1) day before the public sale begins.

Benefits, limits, and availability may change. Where required by Apple, Google, or applicable law, we will provide notice before material changes take effect.

Personal use only: Pro membership is personal to the account holder, non-transferable, and may not be shared, resold, or used on behalf of another person.

Member QR code: Your member QR code is linked to your account. You must not share, lend, screenshot for others, or allow anyone else to use your QR code or account to check in or receive Pro benefits. Using guest passes does not allow another person to use your QR code or account.

Event pre-sale emails: By subscribing, you agree to receive event pre-sale information at your registered email address, as shown in the App at checkout.

Compliance: Pro members must follow these Terms, including Store Rules and prohibited conduct. This includes honest use of your own account and QR code at check-in and proper use of guest passes.

Revocation: If we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms (including sharing your QR code or account, misuse of guest passes or Pro benefits, or conduct that harms Moopy, other guests, or the Store), we may suspend or revoke your Pro membership and/or account immediately, with or without prior notice.

No refund on revocation: If your Pro membership is suspended or revoked for violation of these Terms, you will not receive a refund for any unused portion of your subscription period, including any amount already paid for the current billing period.

5. Store Rules

Operating Hours: 10:00 – 21:00.

Carry‑in Food & Drink: Outside food is welcome, as long as it is limited to snacks or light meals. Please refrain from bringing in large or full-course meals, as we may ask you not to consume them on the premises. Non‑alcoholic beverages are allowed; alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

Behavior & Hygiene: Excessive noise, harassment, intoxication, strong or offensive odor (including body odor, perfume, smoke, etc.) or any conduct that disrupts other guests is prohibited. We may ask you to remedy the issue or leave immediately with no refund.

Events: If an event is marked "No Photography," all photo/video recording is forbidden.

Personal Property: You are solely responsible for your belongings. We are not liable for loss, theft, or damage.

Content Zoning: Adult‑rated manga ("Mature 18+") are shelved separately. Patrons under 18 may not access these materials. A government‑issued photo ID may be required. Guardians are solely responsible for materials selected by children under 13; patrons ages 13–17 must check the publisher's age rating and read at their own discretion.

Content Disclaimer: Moopy does not author, edit, or endorse the content of any manga in our collection. We are not responsible for any themes, opinions, or depictions contained within. Readers access all materials at their own discretion.

Unattended Belongings: Beverages or other items left unattended after you leave may be disposed of without notice.

Restroom Policy: Books and other store materials may not be taken into restrooms.

Property Damage: You agree to reimburse Moopy for the actual cost of repair, replacement, or cleaning if you damage books, furniture, electronics, or spill food/drinks.

6. Food & Beverage Disclaimer

Ingredient and allergen information is printed on product packaging. Please read labels before purchase or consumption. Moopy disclaims liability for allergic or adverse reactions. Taste preferences do not entitle you to refunds.

7. User Conduct — Prohibited Activities (App & Store)

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, reverse‑engineer, or redistribute any part of the App.
• Forge, share, or duplicate another user's QR code or gain unauthorized benefits.
• Scrape, mine, or harvest App data by automated or manual means.
• Engage in disruptive, harassing, or unlawful conduct in the Store or online communities.
• Upload malware, spam, or infringing, obscene, or hateful content.
• Damage or deface Anime Manga Lounge property, including spilling food/beverages or tearing manga.

Violation may result in immediate account suspension, expulsion from the Store, and/or civil liability.

8. User‑Generated Content

By posting reviews, photos, or other content, you grant Moopy a perpetual, worldwide, royalty‑free, non‑exclusive license to use, display, modify, and distribute your content for marketing or other lawful purposes. You warrant that you own or control all rights to the content. Moopy may remove content at its discretion.

9. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if we believe it has been compromised or violates the Agreement.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and Store Service are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." Moopy disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

Store injuries: For injuries caused by Moopy's proven negligence, our liability is limited to actual medical expenses plus USD $100.

Overall cap: For any claim related to the App or Store, Moopy's total liability will not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the total you paid Moopy in the prior 12 months.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages except where prohibited.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moopy and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your use or misuse of the App or Store, (b) your violation of the Agreement, or (c) your damage to Anime Manga Lounge property.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced via in‑App pop‑up and email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law & Venue

The Agreement is governed by California law. Any dispute shall be litigated exclusively in the state or federal courts of Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

15. Severability

If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in force; the invalid portion shall be interpreted to reflect the parties' intent.
